Angualia Daniel is an advocate of the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Uganda. He is a commissioner for oaths and notary public. He holds Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree of Makerere University (2007), a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice of Law Development Centre and a Master of laws degree of Kampala International University (2011). International commercial Arbitration, (Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). A certified practitioner of Construction law involving FIDIC contracts having attended the necessary courses organized and conducted by International Federation of Consulting Engineers.
Before co-founding Angualia Busiku & Co. Advocates, Mr. Angualia Daniel worked with Micro Enterprises Development Network Limited (microfinance arm of World Vision) as its Legal Manager where he advised the company on several legal matters. He also worked as an advocate with the law firms of: Musinguzi & Co. Advocates and later Madiinah & Co. Advocates wherein he acquired vast experience in his current practice areas. He was a lecturer of company law, commercial law and trademarks in the School of law of Kampala International University as well as Cavendish University.
He is the managing partner in the law firm of Angualia Busiku & Co. Advocates where he leads a vibrant team of advocates, consultants and administrative staff. He currently practices; company law, commercial law, foreign investments law, trademarks law, construction law, involving both local and international companies on various complex transaction; advisory, litigation and arbitration practice.
Angualia is a member of; Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda, Uganda Law Society, East Africa Law Society, International Bar Association, Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity, International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI.ORG), Africa Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO) listed trademark agent. He is the Country Representative of Africa Construction Law (A pan African Initiative set up by Construction law practitioners across Africa and in the diaspora to promote thought leadership in the field of construction law and practice in Africa). He is also a contributing member of the World Bank Doing Business Project for Uganda since 2014 among other professional memberships and engagements.
Outside professional work, Angualia Daniel also engages in voluntary work including; advises Limkokwing University of Creative Technology council, Council member of St. Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences, Board member of Katikamu SDA Secondary School, Board member of Amani Hope and Education for All (NGO) and Board member of Initiative for Rural Health and Development Promotion (NGO).
